One FL winner, two $2 million Mega Millions tickets
Lightning does indeed strike twice! Hailing from Boca Raton, Susan Fitton had not one but two tickets that matched up all five white balls for the Sept. 14 drawing.
As a reminder, the winning numbers from the Sept. 14 drawing were 4 – 13 – 19 – 63 – 64 with a gold Mega Ball of 16. Fitton narrowly missed winning the whole jackpot by not matching the gold Mega Ball. However, she did add on the Megaplier option for both tickets, which doubles each prize to $2 million apiece.
The tickets were purchased at Prip Mart, located at 299 West Camino Real in Boca Raton. The store earns an additional $10,000 bonus for selling the winners.
