If you happened to buy a Massachusetts Powerball ticket, check your numbers! The winner has until Thursday to claim a half-million-dollar prize.
The ticket was won on Aug. 19, 2020. In MA, you have one year to claim your prize before it expires. In detail, the ticket was purchased at Dennis Mobil located on 452 Route 134 in South Dennis, MA.
As a reminder, the winning numbers for this drawing was 13 – 23 – 47 – 55 – 58 with a Powerball of 23. According to MA Lottery officials, “This ticket matched four of the first five numbers, plus the Powerball. Since this ticket included the Power Play option and the Power Play multiplier for this drawing was 10X, the base prize of $50,000 was multiplied 10 times for a total value of $500,000.”
If this ticket is not claimed, it will be returned to the profit fund, which distributes to various MA cities and towns. If you do own the winner, you need to claim a prize of this value in person at lottery headquarters in Dorchester, MA.
