Fourth Cash 5 jackpot hit this month
A Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket sold in Berks County hit the $350,000 jackpot on Thursday. The ticket was sold at Rite Aid on North 6th St. in Reading. The retailer gets a $500 bonus for selling the winner.
That makes the fourth Cash 5 jackpot to be hit so far in May. There were four jackpots hit in April and only three in March for the game. So far, May might be on track to have as many jackpot winners as February, which had seven big Cash 5 winners.
The largest Cash 5 jackpot hit so far this month was over $412,000 on May 6 in Clarion County. That one occurred just a week after an Allegheny County player won over $1 million on the game.
Winners aren’t known until they claim their prize and have their ticket validated by the lottery. If you have a winning ticket, the PA Lottery advises you to immediately sign the back of it. Call the lottery and fill out a claim form, which is available online or at any lottery retailer.
