Pennsylvania Lottery mobile app features

Scanning tickets

The app features a ticket checker allowing users to scan the barcodes on various PA Lottery tickets to see if they are winners.

Users cannot scan all types of PA Lottery tickets.

Draw Game and Fast Play tickets have barcodes on the bottom corners. Barcodes can also be found under the Scratch to Cash area on various Scratch-Offs.

To see if the ticket is a winner:

Lay the ticket down on a flat surface
Select the SCAN button on the app
Hold the device a few inches above the ticket
Aim the camera at the ticket barcode
Slowly move the camera closer or further away to focus on the barcode
Be patient, as each camera is different and experimentation may be required
The ticket number will automatically show up in the entry number boxes on the app.
