There are now 13 retail sportsbooks at Pennsylvania casinos and 2 OTBs with sports betting.

The newest retail sportsbook is the FanDuel Sportsbook at Live! Casino Philadelphia. It’s located in the heart of the sports complex in South Philadelphia. You can place your bets and head to the game or catch the action on the 52” media wall. Other new sportsbooks at PA casinos include, the Betfred Sportsbook at Wind Creek Casino and FanDuel Sportsbook at the new mini-casino, Live! Pittsburgh.
The first Barstool Sportsbook on the East Coast is slated to open at Hollywood Casino York in Aug. 2021.

Rivers Casino Philadelphia Sportsbook (formerly SugarHouse)
SugarHouse Sportsbook launched out of a temporary location on Dec. 15, 2018. Its permanent sportsbook opened Oct. 10, 2019, shortly before the casino rebranded to Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The SugarHouse online sportsbook was the first to launch in PA back in May, 2019. The online product maintained the PlaySugarHouse brand even after the land-based casino and sportsbook became Rivers and BetRivers, respectively.

The Book at Harrah’s Philadelphia launched on Jan. 24, 2019. Harrah’s Philadelphia also now has an online and mobile sports betting product which launched later than expected on March 10, 2020. In mid-October, 2020 Harrah’s rebranded their sportsbook to William Hill, their new partner through a merger with Eldorado Resorts. However, this book again changed titles. As a part of a national rebranding campaign, the William Hill Sportsbook at Harrah’s Casino Philadelphia will now be the Caesars Sportsbook.

Hollywood Casino Sportsbook
Hollywood Casino launched the state’s first legal sportsbook with partner William Hill on Nov. 17, 2018. Hollywood’s owner, Penn National Gaming, later dropped Will Hill for Kambi as their software provider. In early 2020, Penn acquired a stake in sports media company Barstool Sports and soft-launched the first-ever Barstool sportsbook app on Sept. 15. The retail book will eventually rebrand to Barstool.

Mohegan Sun Pocono followed up its first Unibet retail sportsbook launch with another, at its OTB race parlor The Downs in Lehigh Valley.
