Mega Millions began a new jackpot run this week, with no big winner on Tuesday. Tonight’s April 22 drawing offers up a top prize of $22 million. The cash value of the prize is $11.7 million before withholding.
Last week, the Mega Millions jackpot was hit by two different players in two consecutive drawings. The Grand Prize on Tuesday had reached $110 million when a player in Minnesota matched all six numbers drawn to win the first Mega Millions jackpot prize in the state.
In the very next drawing on Friday, a player in Tennessee won the second Mega Millions Top Prize ever in that state, right after it had reset to $20 million.

$1.1 million Match 6 jackpot goes to Canonsburg player
On Wednesday, a lucky PA Lottery player in Washington County hit the $1.1 million jackpot on the Match 6 draw game. The ticket was sold at a 7-Eleven store located at 535 West Pike St. in Canonsburg.
Winners aren’t known until they claim their prize and have their winning ticket validated by the lottery. The retailer receives a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
PA Lottery’s Match 6 offers a fun twist on the draw game format. Players choose six numbers between 1 and 49, aiming to match at least three of the numbers that will be drawn in the nightly drawing, to win a prize. In addition, the lottery terminal adds two more sets of six numbers automatically, giving players more chances to win.
