The current Mega Millions jackpot run sprints ahead today, with the new jackpot totaling an estimated $333 million for June 28. If a potential winner chooses to take the prize in a single payment, the lump sum value is $185.6 million before withholding.
In the previous drawing, there was no jackpot winner, but there were some notable prizes.
One player in Florida matched the first five numbers on Friday, winning $1 million. Fourteen players hit the next-tier prize of $10,000 by matching four of the first five, along with the gold Mega Ball. Four more players matched the same numbers, but won $20,000 with the Megaplier option added to their tickets.
The last time a player hit the Mega Millions jackpot was over 10 weeks ago on April 15.

PA Lottery player hits $590,000 jackpot
A PA Lottery player in Luzerne County hit a nice payday yesterday playing Match 6 Lotto. Their ticket matched all six numbers drawn, 3-16-26-29-32-47, to win the $590,000 jackpot prize. Winners aren’t known until they claim their prize, so be sure to check your tickets.
The winning ticket was sold at Turkey Hill on Airport Road in Hazleton. The retailer earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
