Oh, my! With no one hitting the big payday, the Mega Millions jackpot has jumped. For the May 29 drawing, the Grand Prize now stands at $336 million with a $265.6 million cash option.
Either way, that’s an enormous haul if any ticket if any tickets match all six balls.
Tuesday night’s winning numbers were 32 – 54 – 58 – 59 – 62 with a Megaball of 04 and a multiplier of 3x. The $1 Megaplier will multiply any non-jackpot winnings by the factor drawn.
But no tickets on May 26 hit the jackpot, and none matched the five white balls to win $1 million (or $3 million with the megaplier). But 10 tickets matched four white balls plus the gold megaball. For most that was worth $10,000 but four of them had the megaplier, making it a $30,000 win.
Lotto players living in Pennsylvania may buy tickets online from the convenience of home – on desktop or mobile. If you sign up here, you will receive a free $20 and a generous deposit bonus of up to $250 to get you started.
Jackpot has grown despite changes due to the virus restrictions
Draw lottery rules have changed temporarily because so many lottery retailers are affected by coronavirus closures nationwide. Once the enormous jackpot hits, it will reset to $20 million rather than the usual $40 million. That could be a reason to get in now.
The other major change is to the roll amount from drawing to drawing. There is currently no minimum increase, but that doesn’t seem to matter given the huge Mega Millions jackpot.
The PA iLottery meanwhile continues to grow, recently crossing $1 billion in sales within its first two years in operation.
