Tonight’s Powerball jackpot clocks in at a whopping $348 million for April 18. The lump sum cash value totals about $209 million before taxes if a winner tonight chooses to take the prize in a single payment instead of 30 graduated payments.
In the previous drawing on Saturday, there was no top prize winner, but one player in Illinois matched the first five white balls to win a total of $1 million.
So far this year, there have been three jackpot winners. The first two winners both hit the jackpot on the Jan. 5 drawing, and split the huge $632.6 million prize. The most recent jackpot win was on Feb. 14. The Grand Prize that time was $185 million.

Three decades of winners and public benefits
Powerball ticket sales launched on April 19, 1992, meaning the first multi-state draw game turns 30 years old this week.
