The Powerball jackpot survived another drawing without a Top Prize winner, meaning it continues to soar to new heights for Wednesday. The April 6 jackpot is up to $246 million, with a lump sum cash value of $157 million.
Just one player, in TX, managed to match all five white balls in the previous drawing. That’s one number away from winning the Grand Prize. That lucky TX player won the second-tier prize of $1 million. In total 425,595 prizes were awarded in Monday’s drawing across all of Powerball’s jurisdictions in the US, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. That amounts to $3,962,144 in prizes, ranging from $2 to the highest prize of $1 million.

PA players win big on Scratch-Offs in March
The PA Lottery has released its monthly report of Scratch-Off prize totals for March. Scratch-Off players won over $236 million in prizes last month.
The top winner was on the $5 Million Money Maker ticket sold in Erie that hit the $5 million Top Prize. In addition, a player in Lehigh County won $3 million and three others won $1 million. Those three players were from Westmoreland, York and Lackawanna counties.
The March total beat out the February number by quite a bit, as February is usually a slower month for the Lottery. The February total was $201 million. January had a similar total to March, coming in at $261 million in total Scratch-Off prizes.
The totals reported here don’t include PA Lottery draw games or online games. Last month, online players took home over $58 million in prize money. Keep in mind, there are many fewer online players than Scratch-Off players.
