The Powerball jackpot has reached an estimated $125 million for tonight, May 23. The lump sum cash value of tonight’s prize is $73.4 million.

A winning weekend for PA Lottery players
It all started on Friday, when a Match 6 Lotto ticket matched all six winning numbers to win $940,000 before taxes. That ticket was sold in Allegheny County at a Giant Eagle store in Pittsburgh. The retailer also came out a winner, earning a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
On the same day, a player in Leesport, Berks County, hit the progressive jackpot prize on the Fast Play game aptly named Big Win. The jackpot was over $285,000. Rutter’s on New Enterprise Drive sold the winning ticket.
Cash 5 had yet another jackpot winner on Saturday. That’s the sixth time this month that Cash 5 with Quick Cash produced a jackpot winner. The most recent month with as many winners was February, when seven drawings produced jackpot winners.
This time around, the prize had reached $300,000. The ticket was sold at Laundromat Paradise in Philadelphia.
