The last Powerball jackpot was hit by a single ticket sold in Arizona. A lucky player out west hit that whopping $473 million prize in the April 27 drawing.

PA Lottery Scratch-Offs paid big prizes in April
Last month, the PA Lottery paid out over $278 million to winners of Scratch-Off games. The largest prize won last month was the $5 million Top Prize on the $5 Million Money Maker ticket sold in Dauphin County. That ticket carries a $50 price tag, and has three of those Top Prizes remaining to be won.
Three other tickets sold last month hit $1 million prizes. Those big winners were sold in Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Greene counties. You can see all the big winners at palottery.com on the winners list. The list doesn’t include the many winners of $1,000 or less.
Other major Scratch-Off prizes hit last month included:
- Five prizes of $500,000
- One prize of $300,000
- Ten prizes of $250,000
