$150k PA Powerball ticket expiring soon

The PA Lottery announced that a Powerball with Power Play ticket is nearing expiration soon. In particular, the ticket was sold for the June 20, 2020 drawing.

Hallers General Store located on 632 Elm St. in Tionesta sold the winner. As a reminder, the winning numbers for that drawing were 10 – 31 – 41 – 63 – 67 with a red Powerball of 5. This winner matched  four of the five white balls drawn, which is typically worth $50,000. However, this ticket added on the Power Play multiplier, which was three. Thus, the prize multiplied to $150,000.

Be sure to check any Powerball tickets as this unclaimed winner must be filed with the PA Lottery by the conclusion of the business day on Friday, June 18, 2021.

Should no winner step forward, unclaimed and expired prizes remain in the Lottery Fund. Remember that the Lottery Fund benefits older Pennsylvanians and state-programs supporting senior citizens.

PA online lottery automatically notifies winners

In Pennsylvania, there is another way to ensure that lottery winning tickets are claimed. Purchasing your tickets through the PA online lottery means automatic notifications for any winners. Best of all, most winners are automatically deposited into your player account. No muss and no fuss.

Finally, there are other states that allow online lottery sales as well:

  • New York
  • Georgia
  • Illinois
  • Kentucky
  • Michigan
  • New Hampshire
  • North Carolina
  • North Dakota
  • Virginia

No matter how you choose to play the lottery, remember that it is for your entertainment. Please play responsibly.
