Powerball winners for May 8 drawing

Three new millionaires resulted from the last drawing. Two tickets matched all five white balls sold in Maryland and New York, good for $1 million. However, the other Powerball ticket sold in Iowa tacked on the $1 Power Play option, boosting the prize up to $2 million.
In Pennsylvania, two tickets sold for the last drawing won $150,000. Both tickets matched four of the five white balls drawn plus the Powerball. Usually, a third-place prize is worth $50,000. However, these two tickets added on the $1 Power Play option, which multiplied the prize to $150,000.
The two tickets were sold at:

- Steppy’s Sports Bar & Grill located on 2912 Swede Road in East Norriton.
Both retailers earn a $500 bonus for selling the winners. In Pennsylvania, winners are not known until the prize is claimed.
