[toc]Go beyond gamblers’ everyday dreams of winning at blackjack or a slot machine. This month, you have a chance to go for the big bucks, and big clucks, by outfoxing a chicken at a game of Tic-Tac-Toe.

The promotion at Presque Isle Downs & Casino offers a top prize of $1,000 cash. Higher up in the pecking order of this month’s casino prizes are a 2017 Jeep Wrangler at Mohegan Sun Pocono, a 2018 Audi S5 at Sands and a 2017 Maserati at Rivers Casino.

Players can earn entries for a chance to win a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara. Each Momentum point earned through 9:45 p.m. Aug. 26 generates an entry for the grand prize drawing at 10:15 p.m. Aug. 26.

Points earned on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are multiplied, based on club tier level:

Giveaways start in the afternoon as a run-up to the finale drawing. Every 15 minutes from 3 to 8:45 p.m., one player from each club level will be chosen to win slot free play. Hot Seat giveaway

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each Wednesday through Aug. 23, five players will be selected every 15 minutes to pick an envelope from a box. Each envelope awards a prize of $100 to $1,000 in slot free play.

On Wednesdays, Mt. Airy will match monthly free-play offers from any other New Jersey or Pennsylvania casino. Players must show a slot offer valid for that day and the competitor’s casino card. The maximum award is $300. Some players must earn 1,000 Player’s Club points to qualify for the match.

2018 Audi S5 Sportback sweepstakes

Players can earn entries through most of August for an Aug. 27 drawing offering a grand prize of a 2018 Audi S5 Sportback 3.0T Quattro Tiptronic. The first entry is free, with additional entries awarded for rated slot play through 6:45 p.m. Aug. 27.

Major League Baseball’s all-time hits leader Pete Rose will be at SugarHouse for a meet-and-greet session from 2 to 3 p.m. Aug. 12. Tickets are $75 each, but Rush Rewards members can enter a drawing for two free tickets, which include an autographed 8×10 photo with the inscription “2017 Philly Wall of Fame” as well as a photo opportunity with Rose.

Entries will be accepted through noon on Aug. 10. The drawing for the free tickets will be at noon Aug. 10, and the winner will be notified by email or phone.  The meet-and-greet will include appetizers and an open bar.
