The World Series of Poker Online Circuit series will have a version of its own in Pennsylvania to start the New Year. The Online Circuit Series runs from Jan. 5-16.
$500,000 will be up for grabs along with 12 championship WSOP rings. Players physically located in the Keystone State will be eligible to compete in these events at WSOP.com PA. And that goes for New Jersey residents as well.
“I would love to win a ring, so I am planning on heading to PA to play in a couple of these,” says Brandon Foster, a poker player from New Jersey. “ I am right over the bridge so I can stay at my friend’s house and jump in the tournaments from there.”
WSOP PA Online Circuit highlights
Players can expect to find all no-limit hold’em events with one Omaha High Roller tournament thrown in the mix. The Main Event of the series will be a $525 buy-in and holds a $100,000 guarantee. That one takes place on Jan. 16.
Additional notable tournaments include:
- $215 NLHE PKO (Event 1, Jan. 5) – $40,000 guaranteed
- $215 NLHE Sunday Special (Event 5, Jan. 9) – $75,000 guaranteed
- $500 Pot Limit Omaha BIG (Event 8, Jan. 12) – $25,000 guaranteed
- $320 NLHE PKO Monster Stack (Event 11, Jan. 15) – $50,000 guaranteed

Tournament of Champions $1 million dollar bonus
WSOP.com also announced a bonus for players in 2022. According to the website, players who win either a ring or a bracelet in 2022 will play in the “Tournament of Champions” $1 Million Freeroll. This event will reward one player with a WSOP Gold Bracelet during the 2022 WSOP.
The date of this event has not been announced yet.
