If you’ve been sleeping on Mega Millions, it’s time to wake up! With no jackpot winner from Tuesday’s drawing, the Top Prize has made its way to an estimated $113 million for the March 4 drawing. It’s worth about $77 million cash, before taxes, if a winner were to choose the lump sum option.
Once again, there were no second-tier winners either this week. There were plenty of lower-tier winners as usual, though, including 15 third-tier prize winners. Those players all matched four of the five white balls, and the Mega Ball. That wins them a $10,000 prize. Three of those players doubled their winnings by adding the Megaplier option to their tickets when purchasing. The Megaplier costs $1 extra, and multiplies all prizes but the jackpot based on the multiplier number drawn.

Lottery’s 50th Anniversary month kicks off on a high note
The PA Lottery sold three big winning tickets this week, starting out their 50th anniversary month strong. The Treasure Hunt jackpot was up to $131,000 when it was hit by a player in Bucks County on Wednesday. One Hope Mart in Warminster will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
A York County player hit a $1 million prize on the $1,000,000 Cash King Scratch-Off. That ticket was purchased at Rutter’s on Main Street in York. That store earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the winner. $1 million is the Top Prize for that $20 ticket.
The largest prize won this week was also on a Scratch-Off; this one sold in Lehigh County. The $30 Monopoly 100X ticket sold at a Deli Mart in Allentown hit the $3 million Top Prize. That store earns a $10,000 bonus.
Winners aren’t known until the prizes are claimed and tickets validated for authenticity. Winners have up to one year to claim their prizes.
