Pennsylvania poker players can compete for 12 WSOP online championship rings during the month of April. The World Series of Poker is running another Online Circuit Series from April 20 – May 1 that comes with $500,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
These events will be for any player geo-located in the Keystone state while the tournaments play out. On May 1, online grinders can jump in the $100,000 guaranteed Main Event. The tournament will cost $525 to buy in and the winner will also get a ring.
New Jersey, Michigan, and Nevada will run separate events from Pennsylvania. With Michigan recently being accepted into the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement, those players will likely be able to compete alongside NV and NJ players for bracelets this summer. It appears PA will remain sidelined, at least for now.
WSOP PA Online Circuit Events
No-limit hold ’em will be the primary variety of tournaments in this WSOP PA series, with the exception of one Omaha tournament. Some standout tournaments include:
- $109 NLHE PKO (Event 1, Apr. 20) – $20,000 guaranteed
- $215 Monster Stack (Event 5, Apr. 24) – $75,000 guaranteed
- $1,000 NLHE High Roller (Event 7, Apr. 26) – $50,000 guaranteed
- $109 PLO PKO Six-Max (Event 8, Apr. 27) – $15,000 guaranteed

WSOP Main Event Seat Freeroll
WSOP.com is offering a freeroll on April 28. PA online poker players who earn 20 points playing cash games between April 5-25 will earn an entry into the freeroll event. The winner will win a ticket to the 2022 $10,000 Main Event in Las Vegas.
Tournament of Champions Million Dollar Freeroll in July
On July 18, WSOP will host a tournament of champions event. WSOP.com will award all 2022 bracelet and ring winners, live or online, a ticket for a Tournament of Champions event to play out in Las Vegas.
There is no buy-in to this event, but a $1 million guaranteed prize pool will be up for grabs. Players must win their way into the prestigious tournament. For more information, here is a look at the structure sheet for that event.
