The NFL finally released the full schedule for the 2022 season on Thursday. Pennsylvania sportsbooks followed with odds and lines for almost all the games. You can bet on the Pittsburgh Steelers right now.
The Steelers snuck into the 2021 playoffs at 9-7-1 after beating the Baltimore Ravens in overtime in Week 18. They then fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round, 42-21.
With a new quarterback at the helm in wake of Ben Roethlisberger‘s retirement, expectations have tempered heading into 2022. BetMGM PA sportsbook has the Steelers win total set at 7.5. As of Thursday night it was the third-most bet win total, according to BetMGM’s John Ewing.

Steelers 2022 schedule dates and times
The Steelers have the 12th easiest schedule with their 2021 opponents having a record of 148-141-0. Their first game will be a tough one though, on the road in Cincinnati.

New faces at quarterback in Pittsburgh
The Steelers will have new faces in the quarterback room for the first time in 18 years. They signed Mitch Trubisky to a free-agent contract in March and drafted Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett with the 20th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Pickett is the favorite to win the Rookie of the Year at PA online sportsbooks.
Competitive AFC North odds
PA sportsbooks believe the AFC North with be a competitive division (apart from the Steelers) judging by the odds. They are as follows, courtesy of DraftKings:

- Cincinnati Bengals: +200
- Baltimore Ravens: +210
- Pittsburgh Steelers: +1100
A case can be made for the top three teams to win the division. The Browns traded for Deshaun Watson, one of the best young quarterbacks in the league. The Bengals are the reigning AFC champions and the Ravens will always be in the mix as long as Lamar Jackson stays healthy. It appears as if the Steelers have been written off.
The Steelers have not had a losing season since 2003 and have never finished last in the AFC North. The last time the Steelers finished last in the division was 1988 when it was the AFC Central.
