From bikini models to a shot at winning $100,000 cash, Pennsylvania casinos are adding their own attractions to America’s biggest football party day.
Some also offer the option to make legal bets on the Super Bowl, generically known as the “Big Game” because of the NFL trademark on the formal title.
Even though the Eagles or Steelers are on the sidelines for this year’s game, several casinos are offering events appealing to fans of football, off-the-wall commercials, or a reason to eat and drink in the middle of winter. Others will host private parties or tune televisions throughout the floor to the game.
Kickoff for the game between the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET Feb. 3. Halftime performers are Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi.
Here’s a roundup of Super Bowl parties and promotions in Pennsylvania casinos:
Harrah’s Philadelphia
- Sportsbook: Yes
- Viewing Party: A party from 6 to 10 p.m. in the event center will include drawings for five prizes of slot free play, with a prize pool totaling $1,000. Tickets are $29 each, food included. Drinks available. Registration begins at 4 p.m.
Lady Luck Nemacolin
($10 resort purchase required to enter casino)
- Sportsbook: No
- Big Game Drawings: Every touchdown, field goal, turnover, or safety during the game will trigger a drawing for cash or slot free play. Fan Club member earn entries through slot or table-game play starting at 7 a.m. Feb. 2. At the end of the football game, five prizes of cash and free play will be awarded in a drawing.
Mount Airy Casino Resort
- Sportsbook: No
- Big Game Party with the International Bikini Team: The action starts at 5 p.m. Attendees must be 21 or older. Tickets are $15 each. Organizers say bikini team members are chosen through one of the largest pageant systems in the world.
Parx
- Sportsbook: Yes
- Big Game Watch Party: Those wanting to see who succeeds the Eagles as Super Bowl champions can join the party at the casino’s new indoor-outdoor Beer Garden and Liberty Bell Gastropub. The event will feature an appearance by former Eagles running back and all-pro Brian Westbrook. The beer garden, which opened Jan. 25, has a full bar with 24 craft brews on tap, 14 wine options, and food from the adjacent Liberty Bell Gastropub and Oliveto restaurants. The garden has two TV screens, one 16 feet, and the other 15 feet, plus sports-betting kiosks. The glass roof is retractable, and retractable glass walls lead to two patios. The entrance to the beer garden is through the Gastropub dining room. In the future, the garden also will be accessible through the planned $10 million permanent Parx Sportsbook, which is set to open this summer.
Presque Isle Downs

- Big Game Bash: Churchill’s Bourbon & Brew doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the $10 per person Tailgate Buffet starting at 6:30. The casino will give out free play given throughout game, and one drawing will award a 50-inch TV and recliner. Reservations required; call (814) 866-8353.

- Big Game Viewing Party: There will be a free viewing party open to all in the second-floor event center. Entry wristbands are available at the casino’s Drum Bar starting at 2 p.m., and event center doors open at 4 p.m. Stadium-style food and beverages will be available for purchase. Bets may be placed at the first-floor sportsbook or at kiosks in the event center. Party-goers must have a wristband to attend. Any wristbands remaining after 7 p.m. will be given out at the event center door.
Valley Forge Resort Casino

- $100,000 Super Roll Drawing: Each hour from 12 to 5 p.m. Feb. 3, five people will be chosen to roll a pair of dice to win a prize. Drawing open to all Valley Club members. Club members must print their free entry from any kiosk starting at 6 a.m. and drop it in the drawing drum at Center Bar at least 15 minutes before each drawing until 4:45 p.m.
