The jackpot for the Mega Millions drawing Friday, February 28 stands at an estimated $60 million. That is, a cool $42.9 million in your piggy bank for matching all six numbers and taking the cash option.
The last Mega Millions drawing was for an estimated $55 million on February 25. The numbers were 2 – 9 – 43 – 49 – 63 with a megaball of 15 and the megaplier was 2x.

How to play Mega Millions
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10:59 ET. The first five balls will be between 1 and 70 and the megaball between 1 and 25.
There are nine ways to win, ranging from $2 for matching the megaball, up to the jackpot. Overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 24 while odds of hitting the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350. Chances of matching all five white balls to win a million are much higher at 1 in 12,607,306.
The odds may be long, but the potential payout is great.
