Fourth Mega Millions jackpot to hit in 2020
The Mega Millions top prize being won again makes it the fourth jackpot that has hit in 2020. In New Jersey alone, two tickets hit, one for $202 million in February and another for $123 million on July 24. The biggest jackpot was won in Arizona for over $410 million on June 9.
As a recap, the winning numbers for July 31 were 12 – 35 – 46 – 48 – 69, with a gold Megaball of 23. The Megaplier was 2x, which doesn’t apply to winning the jackpot.
A California ticket matched all the numbers. As a result, the lucky winner takes home the July 31 jackpot of $22 million. However, the winner could opt instead for a $17.9 million cash-out.
