The Mega Millions jackpot is quickly nearing $300 million.
For Tuesday, Dec. 15, the Mega Millions estimated jackpot is topped out at $291 million, with a cash option of $224.7 million.

$1 million Match 5 winner in KY
One lucky winner from Louisville, KY, resulted from the previous Mega Millions drawing. As a recap, the winning numbers from Friday, Dec. 11, were 19 – 31 – 37 – 55 – 67 and a Megaball of 25.
This particular $1 million ticket matched all five white balls but just missed the Megaball for winning the big jackpot, which was $276 million. For now, details are scarce, as the Kentucky Lottery is certifying and conducting checks at the retailer where the ticket was sold.
Note that most state lottery offices are not accepting walk-ins due to COVID-19 restrictions. To claim a winning ticket with a big prize, you will need to make an appointment at the appropriate state lottery offices.
