A pretty uneventful Mega Millions drawing concluded on Friday with no Top Prize or $1 million winners. But today is a new day with a new jackpot: $31 million for this Feb. 8 drawing. The lump sum cash value of today’s Grand Prize is $21 million.
The largest prize won on the previous drawing was $40,000, hit by two individuals who chose to pay the extra $1 for the Megaplier option when buying their tickets. Their tickets matched four of the five white balls plus the yellow Mega Ball.
Without the Megaplier, the prize would have been worth $10,000. Ten other players matched the same numbers to win that prize without the Megaplier.

Same numbers for two years pays off for Mississippi woman
