New York Giants fans booed the selection of Daniel Jones at the NFL draft. However, they quickly changed their tune after wins in two of his first three starts. New York loves “Danny Dimes,” but can he be money for sports bettors?

Fox Bet is offering online sports bettors in Pennsylvania and New Jersey the chance to double their money if Jones throws a touchdown on NFL’s Thursday Night Football against the New England Patriots in Foxborough. The Pats have yet to surrender a passing touchdown this season.

To have a chance against the undefeated Patriots (5-0), the Giants (2-3) are going to need their rookie quarterback to lead the way. On Wednesday, the Giants ruled out running back Saquon Barkley (ankle), his backup Wayne Gallman (concussion), tight end Evan Engram (knee), and wide receiver Sterling Shepard (concussion).

Fox Bet Daniel Jones promo details

After the Giants suffered two double-digit defeats to start the season, 16-year veteran quarterback Eli Manning was benched in favor of Jones. Jones has thrown at least one touchdown in each of his first three starts.

The odds boost means Jones to throw a touchdown is going off at +100.

To give you a comparison, DraftKings Sportsbook in New Jersey is offering the same bet at -215.

At FanDuel, the bet is at -152.

So, at Fox bet, your $25 bet will yield a $50 payout compared to a $25 wager that yields a $37 payday at DraftKings or a $25 bet that yields $41 at FanDuel.

Details of Fox Bet’s promotion for Thursday Night Football are:

  • Up to $25 max bet.
  • The offer works in conjunction with the regular welcome offer.
  • Available from 10 a.m.-8:20 p.m. EST on Oct. 10.

Giants need monster effort from Jones

Last week, Jones suffered his first loss as a starter against the Vikings. The Vikings unleashed a multidimensional attack en route to a 28-10 win. It was a rough game for Jones, who was sacked four times and took several hits. Statistically, it was the worst effort of his young career (21-38 182 YDS, 1 TD 1 INT, 65.9 QBR). He will have to bounce back quickly for his toughest test against the top-ranked New England defense. The Patriots defense leads the league in:

  • Points surrendered
  • Total yards per game
  • Yards per play
  • Sacks
  • Interceptions
  • Quarterback hits
  • Third-down efficiency
  • Red-zone touchdown percentage

Without top playmakers Barkley, Shepard, and Engram, it will fall on Jones to manufacture a miracle. If he does pull out a win, he will be the first opposing rookie quarterback to win at Gillette Stadium during the Bill Belichick-era.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is adding to his Hall of Fame resume. So far this season, he’s passed for 1,409 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Other options for Fox Bet boosts

Fox Bet lists the Patriots as 17-point favorites with the over/under set at 41.5. On the moneyline, the Giants are (+850) and the Patriots are (-1,600).

Here are some other Bet Boosts by Fox Bet for Thursday Night Football:

  • Patriots to cover -17  (-110) boosted to +100.
  • Josh Gordon 75+ receiving yards (+125) boosted to +140.
