Expect to see lots more mentions of Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack at Lincoln Financial Field, which is home to the Philadelphia Eagles. Harrah’s parent, Caesars Entertainment, has a new marketing deal with the struggling 5-7 Eagles.

The deal includes in-stadium signage, branding, and appearances by Eagles’ legends at Harrah’s. Email and direct mail marketing about the new partnership will build off an existing exclusive marketing deal between Caesars and the National Football League.

Promotions planned at Lincoln Financial Field and Harrah’s

The marketing deal means casino guests will soon get commemorative Eagles Caesars Rewards card, co-branded apparel, and gifts. Also, there will be Philadelphia Eagles-branded table games on the floor of the casino.

Chris Albrecht, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s, explained the pairing:

“Harrah’s Philadelphia prides itself on partnering with organizations that share our same core values and the Philadelphia Eagles are the gold standard in terms of customer service, community engagement, and on-the-field product. We each have passionate and loyal fan bases and we look forward to connecting with them in new and innovative ways and providing them with exciting experiences through this partnership.”

Caesars Entertainment has a larger NFL deal

Earlier in the year, Caesars Entertainment signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with the NFL that allows Caesars to provide experiences for fans. It includes using its casino properties, celebrity chefs, premier music artists, and a wide range of entertainment options.

Caesars has the exclusive right to use NFL trademarks in the United States and the United Kingdom. The company will promote its casino properties at significant NFL events, including the Super Bowl and the NFL Draft.

Catherine Carlson, Philadelphia Eagles’ senior vice president for revenue and strategy, explained the team’s perspective:

World-class entertainment and a strong commitment to the customer experience are synonymous when you think of Harrah’s Philadelphia. This new partnership will enable us to work creatively with Harrah’s through innovative ways to further engage with Eagles’ fans. We look forward to offering special Eagles’ experiences and co-branded touchpoints with Harrah’s Philadelphia year-round.

Harrah’s Philadelphia will also serve as the presenting sponsor of the Eagles “Drive Summary” video board feature. It will also feature the team’s “Scratch and Win” game in its mobile application.

Sports league and casino partnerships on the rise in PA

And the end of October, the Eagles and Unibet agreed to a partnership with the gambling outfit and the NFL team agreeing to promote Unibet’s online casino app in Pennsylvania.

It does not stop there.

The Flyers partnered with SugarHouse Casino; Fox Bet is a gaming operator for the NBA and Sixers.
