Not every drive results in a touchdown, and not every lottery ticket is a winner. But that doesn’t mean players have to walk away empty-handed.
The Philadelphia Eagles and the Pittsburgh Steelers teamed up with the Pennsylvania Lottery to launch a Second-Chance drawing. Now until Oct. 8, lotto players can enter nonwinning $5 Eagles and Steelers Fast Play tickets into the Second-Chance drawing.
Second-Chance football prizes
You can enter the Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers/PA Lottery Second Chance Drawing via the VIP Players Club at PA Lottery’s website or scan-to-enter using the Pennsylvania Lottery app.
Each nonwinning $5 Eagles or Steelers Fast Play ticket will be given five entries. Randomly selected entries will be awarded a three to seven times entry multiplier. Winners will be announced at palottery.com.
Philadelphia Eagles Fast Play Second-Chance prizes are:
- Autographed Philadelphia Eagles items
- Tickets to Eagles games
- Invites to Eagles Insider events featuring Eagles legends
- Bonus money to play the PA Lottery online

How to play Fast Play
PA Lottery’s Gus the Groundhog advises players to “keep on scratchin’,” but you don’t have to do that with Fast Play. It’s nearly identical to scratch-off tickets but without the need to scratch.
Fast Play is available at any PA Lottery retailer from the self-service touch-screen vending terminals.
The Eagles and Steelers Fast Play games have identical rules. They are $5 games that offer the chance of 10 top prizes of $50,000. When any of your numbers match any winning number, you win the prize shown under the matched number. Overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 3.85.
The football-themed games also have a goal post bonus. When an “FG” (FLDGL) symbol appears in the Goal Post Bonus area, add $3 to the total amount won above. When a “TD” (TCHDXP) symbol appears in the Goal Post Bonus area, add $3 to the Total amount won above.
PA iLottery breaks record
The Pennsylvania Lottery is the only state lottery where all proceeds benefit older residents. Since its inception in 1972, it has dispensed over $30 billion to fund property tax and rent rebates, transportation, care services, prescription assistance and local services including senior centers and meals.
In May 2020, PA iLottery sales reached the $1 billion mark just ahead of its second anniversary. The milestone makes it the most commercially successful iLottery launch in North America.
The PA Lottery wasn’t completely immune to coronavirus-related shutdowns and effects on business. It forced the closure of about 30% of the 9,800 Pennsylvania Lottery retailers across the state. Traditional game sales dropped 25% with the closure of nonessential businesses in mid-March.
One of just six states with an online lottery, the PA iLottery has served as a valuable asset. Online lottery play has seen an increase in recent months, helping the organization keep revenues up to continue serving older Pennsylvanians throughout the state.
