First top prize winner PA lottery $50 scratch-off

On Tuesday, the PA Lottery announced that a retailer has sold the first $5 Million Money Maker ticket to hit the Top Prize of $5 million. The PA Lottery’s most expensive Scratch-Off game, released in celebration of their 50th anniversary, made its debut on Dec. 28, 2021. The ticket costs $50.

It’s now a waiting game to find out who’s the lucky winner of the ticket sold at a Wawa in Bensalem. The ticket purchaser will need to claim their prize at a Lottery office, where the ticket will go through the validation process to make sure it’s legit. Wawa will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winner.

First-ever $50 PA Lottery scratch-off ticket remaining prizes

The $5 Million Money Maker game offered five Top Prizes in total, meaning that four $5 million winning tickets have yet to be purchased. There are plenty more prizes remaining to be won from this Scratch-Off.

The next tier prize of $500,000 has nine wins remaining, and the next highest prize of $25,000 has 25 wins remaining. More than 23,000 other prizes from $1,000 – 10,000 also remain.

Other new PA lottery scratch-off games

If $50 sounds a bit steep for a lottery ticket, the PA Lottery has just released a slew of other Scratch-Offs at lower price points. These tickets all have the added benefit of being eligible for Second-Chance Drawings. You can enter your non-winning tickets for another chance to win.

From now until March 17, all St. Patrick’s Day-themed Scratch-Offs can be entered into the Loads of Luck Second-Chance Drawing. The drawing will award five top prizes of $17,000 and five prizes of $10,000 among others. The eligible tickets are Four Leaf Fortune, Leprechaun Loot and Shamrock Green.

Then starting Feb. 1, players can enter Fast Play tickets from End of the Rainbow, Pot of Gold and Cash Clover games.

Everyone loves a second chance (drawing)

The Wizard of OZ Scratch-Off is a new $10 ticket that offers even bigger Second Chance drawing prizes. The ticket itself offers 10 top prizes of $500,000. Enter your tickets for the Wizard of OZ Second Chance Drawing between now and March 24. Wizard of Oz Fast Play tickets can be entered beginning Feb. 1.

To take part in Second Chance Drawings, first sign up for Pennsylvania Online Lottery, and make your way to the VIP Player’s Club for full details.
