Just days after rolling out in New Jersey, Fox Bet is premiering in Pennsylvania. Mount Airy Casino is the property behind the PA betting site.

The New Jersey online sports betting site, which is a rebranded version of BetStars NJ, opened up on Aug. 30. The debut came just in time for college football betting.

Now it arrives — via a soft launch — in PA in advance of NFL Week 1 betting. This marks the fifth betting app to hit the Pennsylvania market.

What Fox Bet offers PA customers

Fox Bet is available on your desktop browser and as an app for Android and iOS; the PA version does appear in the App Store already for iPhones and iPads.

The site features a boatload of promotions and special bets for casual customers. In addition to daily odds boosts, sign-up bonuses, the site also allows users to take advantage of special custom bets.

For new users, there are two potential bonus offers to consider.

If you are still unsure about depositing, there is a sign-up bonus with no promo code needed that gives new customers an automatic free $20 in their account.

Additionally, there is a $100 deposit-match bonus offer for those looking to load up a little money on the site.

Fox Bet relying on star power to push the product

So far, it is the local names that are dominating the sports betting market in PA. SugarHouse and Rivers top the online and retail revenue numbers. However, FanDuel Sportsbook is the newest to the market and is already eating market share.

Fox Bet hopes to do more of the same. In addition to being a product of the marketing-savvy The Stars Group, Fox Bet also boasts a major media brand. The two groups joined forces in May.

This is not the first time Fox’s parent company, News Corp., has ventured into gaming. The company found major success in Europe with Sky Sports’ betting brand Sky Bet. Now they are trying to replicate that in the US. (The Stars Group now also owns Sky Bet.)

Mount Airy and Stars certainly hope the Fox Sports brand carries a lot of weight. Fox Bet is already relying heavily on the network’s biggest names and personalities to plug the product.

None of these personalities are more front and center than Colin Cowherd. The Herd host has featured college and NFL bets each week tied to customer promotions.

Other notable personalities are also included in site promotions, including Cris Carter, Clay Travis, and Cousin Sal.
