Check Powerball numbers

You forgot to get eggs at the grocery store. The milk slipped your mind during that trip to the convenience store.

“It’s no big deal,” you reassure yourself.

But later that night, a sinking feeling sets in when you realize it’s minutes away from the Mega Millions drawing, and you forgot to pick those up, too.

Now, Pennsylvanians have no reason to sprint to the store or break out in a cold sweat from fear mixed with possible regret.

Powerball and Mega Millions are available to purchase in Pennsylvania online through the iLottery platform.

How to access PA Lottery online

The Pennsylvania Lottery launched its iLottery platform in May 2018 with internet instant games.

On Jan. 17, the PA Lottery announced in a press release that those in Pennsylvania could now purchase Powerball and Mega Millions tickets through the same platform.

By signing up through our links above, you can receive $5 free to get you started. PA iLottery is accessible via desktop, mobile and tablet, both Apple and Android.

In addition to Powerball and Mega Millions, the iLottery platform also includes other games such as Keno, Prospector’s Gold, Pennsylvania Payout, and about sixty other titles.

Responsible gaming

Pennsylvania Lottery Executive Director Drew Svitko expressed excitement about selling Powerball and Mega Millions tickets online.

“Selling lottery online is a big part of our effort to appeal to new customers and meet our players where they already are — which is online. This is an important step that will help us continue generating funds to benefit older Pennsylvanians.”

He also urged players to participate responsibly and always within their means.

Features on the iLottery platform that promote responsible play include:

  • Time limits, deposit limits and spend limits
  • A “cool-off” break of up to 30 days
  • The option to self-exclude entirely for one year or five years

Players can adjust one or more of these limits.

The Mega Millions jackpot is currently at $141 million, and the Powerball jackpot is up to $394 million. The next drawings for those will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
