Someone’s summer got a lot better.

On Friday, July 19, a jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery Match 6 Lotto ticket was sold in Allegheny County. The ticket matched all six winning numbers, 25-32-34-36-47-48, to win the $4,150,025 jackpot prize.

The odds of matching all six numbers for Match 6 Lotto are 1 in 4,661,272.

No winner has been identified since the prize has yet to be claimed and the ticket validated. Match 6 Lotto winners have one year from the drawing to claim the prize.

Winning ticket sold at Mifflin Social Club

The Mifflin Social Club in West Mifflin sold the winning ticket. The club earns a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

More than 79,000 other Match 6 Lotto tickets also won prizes in the drawing.

What is Match 6 Lotto

Match 6 Lotto is the PA Lottery game with a starting jackpot of $500,000 and various ways to win other lotto prizes. The jackpot grows until someone picks the winning lottery numbers. If more than one person wins the jackpot, the winners split the Match 6 Lotto jackpot prize.

How to play Match 6 Lotto

To play Match 6 Lotto, players pay $2 and choose six numbers from 1 to 49 or have numbers randomly selected by computer. Then, the computer randomly selects an additional two sets of six numbers, for three lines of six numbers each or 18 numbers total.

Players can win up to four times on each ticket. Once on each of three lines (base play) and by combining all 18 numbers (combined play). Match 6 Lotto is drawn every evening and players can purchase up to 26 draws in advance.

The easiest way to check PA Lottery tickets

The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds players to check every ticket every time. Lower-tier prizes can be claimed at PA Lottery retailers. In order to claim a jackpot-winning Match 6 ticket, the winner should sign the ticket, call the PA Lottery at 717-702-8146, and file a claim at the nearest PA Lottery office.

If you don’t want your name out in public alongside your jackpot, do not sign your ticket without consulting a lawyer first. You can set up a trust to preserve your privacy, but if you sign your name, you effectively forfeit that option.

The easiest way to check if a ticket is a winner is to download the free Pennsylvania Lottery mobile app. It features a ticket checker which allows users to scan a ticket’s barcode to see if it’s a winner. If it is not, you can choose to enter second-chance drawings.
