Mega Millions mega winner last week
This time last week, one Mega Millions ticket resulted in a big payday for one PA Lottery player.
One player matched all five white balls, but not the yellow Mega Ball. That guaranteed the winner at least $1 million. However, the winner splurged an extra dollar to earn a Megaplier on the ticket. With a max multiplier of 5X, the winnings boosted to $5 million.
While the winner has yet to come forward, the winnings stand as one of the largest in recent PA Lottery history among tickets that did not hit the Mega Millions jackpot.
Now, the rest of the state has another shot at a life-changing prize. It would be nice if a Pennsylvanian could take home the big payday. Since Mega Millions started in PA in 2010, no player in the state has netted a top 20 jackpot in the game.
