Everybody’s working for the weekend. The weekend could be the best one ever after tonight’s Mega Millions drawing.
Friday’s drawing features an estimated Mega Millions jackpot of $444 million. Those who prefer to take the lump sum would receive around $281.1 million. The drawing will take place at 11 p.m. ET. Check back here for the results:
Winning numbers: 7-8-26-65-67
Mega Ball: 4

Should the jackpot hit tonight, it would stand as the eighth-largest in Mega Millions history.
Checking tickets to see if they are winners is easier than ever for Pennsylvania residents. Simply scan tickets via the PA Lottery mobile app, and quickly they can discover if any is a winner.
Eight-largest Mega Millions jackpot
In the history of Mega Millions, twice players in Pennsylvania have hit the jackpot. However, the Keystone State has not had a winner since 2015.
That year, a Virginia resident who was in PA when he bought a ticket, won $153 million. In 2014, a Pittsburgh man claimed $149 million.
Of course, neither prize sits among the pantheon of jackpots. From last fall’s epic $1.537 billion prize to a jackpot awarded in January 2018, here are the top Mega Millions prizes ever awarded:
- Oct. 23, 2018: $1.537 billion
- March 30, 2012: $656 million
- Dec. 17, 2013: $648 million
- July 24, 2018: $543 million
- July 8, 2016: $536 million
- March 30, 2018: $533 million
- Jan. 5, 2018: $451 million
Don’t forget about Powerball
While the Mega Millions jackpot continues to build, do not forget about Powerball.
The big Powerball prize is building once again. The jackpot enters Saturday’s drawing at $350 million. That lump sum equates to roughly $221 million.
That drawing is scheduled for Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. ET.
Combined with the Mega Millions jackpot, Powerball gives Pennsylvanians a crack at $794 million in jackpots this weekend.
PA player hit Powerball in March 2018
In March 2018, a Speedway gas station in Lancaster County sold a Powerball ticket that hit the $456.7 million jackpot. The winner reportedly decided to set up a trust and take the roughly $273.96 million lump sum.
The moment marked the 18th time a Pennsylvania resident claimed the multi-state Powerball jackpot.
Nationwide, 44 states participate in Powerball and Mega Millions. When considering both games, Pennsylvanians have won 20 multi-state jackpots.
