It’s not every day the Mega Millions jackpot reaches $298 million ($235 million for the cash option). But if anyone can manage to match all six balls in tonight’s drawing, that’s what will be waiting for them. What better way to start off Memorial Day weekend?
The new temporary lottery rules reduce the jackpot starting amount to $20 million from the usual $40 million, which will happen once the jackpot hits. There is also no minimum roll amount for Mega Millions or Powerball, so they depend on sales and interest rates.
That hasn’t stopped the Mega Millions from soaring to nearly $300 million. From May 19 to May 22, the Powerball jackpot jumped $24 million.

In fact, the PA online lottery just crossed a significant milestone, reaching $1 billion in sales before their upcoming two-year anniversary.
With many PA lotto retailers still closed for coronavirus precautions, online sales continue to grow. You can sign up to the online lottery in PA here through our links for a free $20 and a deposit bonus up to $250 to get you started.
