Winning lotto numbers

Valentine’s Day seems as good a day as any to win millions of dollars playing the lottery. For those with Mega Millions tickets for Friday, Feb. 14, that is a possibility.

The jackpot has been reset to $40 million with an estimated cash option of $28.1 million.

The $202 million Mega Millions jackpot hit on Tuesday, Feb. 11 with the winning ticket sold in New Jersey. That lucky winner had a cash option of $142.2 million – not too bad for a $2 investment!

Playing Mega Millions in Pennsylvania

Plenty of PA residents cashed Mega Millions tickets last month. One woman cashed a $1 million ticket purchased in Chester, PA and two others, in Bucks and Philadelphia, won $10,000 last month.

Two players also purchased winning tickets worth $30,000 each with the 3x megaplier, one in Franklin and one in Beaver, PA. Dozens of others collected four-figure scores in Mega Millions last month.

In Pennsylvania, you can purchase tickets at any authorized live retailer or online. This includes through your mobile device, where you can also check your tickets for winners on the iLottery app.

Winning Mega Millions numbers Friday, February 14

After winding down from your Valentine’s dinner, alone or with that special someone, it’s likely you’ll want to check on those Mega Millions winning numbers. You can do so right here just after 11 p.m. ET when the numbers are drawn.

Winning numbers: 10 – 32 – 48 – 54 – 55 and Powerball: 18

Megaplier: 5x

Previous drawing February 11

Tuesday’s drawing had winning numbers of 4 – 6 – 32 – 52 – 64 with a Megaball of 06 and a Megaplier of 2x.

The jackpot ticket was sold at a Quick Stop Food Store in Edison, NJ. Thanks to a new law in the Garden State, lotto winners are now allowed to remain anonymous, and this winner may elect to do so.

There was also a million-dollar winner in West Virginia. That person matched all five white balls but did not have the megaplier in play to double the payout. Still, $1 million bucks isn’t too bad.

According to a Mega Millions press release, Tuesday’s drawing yielded 689,521 winning tickets besides the jackpot winner. Fourteen tickets matched four white balls plus the mega ball, worth $10,000. Two of them had the multiplier activated to double it to $20,000.

The jackpot had been rolling over since it was last hit Dec. 17, 2019 in Ohio by The Great Hope Trust. That jackpot was $375 million. Since that drawing, over 7.8 million winning tickets have been sold, including the recent jackpot and 17 additional tickets worth $1 million or more.
