A lucky Mega Millions player hit the jackpot in the last drawing. And just like that, the Top Prize resets to $20 million for Friday, March 11. The new jackpot has a cash value of $13.4 million if a winner were to choose to take the prize in one payment.
On Tuesday, the Grand Prize had reached an eye-popping $126 million when one player in NY matched all the numbers drawn to hit the jackpot. The lump sum cash value of that prize comes to $85.8 million. The last time a player in NY hit the Mega Millions jackpot was in September of 2021.

Over $200 million in PA Lottery Scratch-Off prizes were awarded in February
The PA Lottery reported that February Scratch-Off prizes totaled more than $201 million. That total includes six prizes of $500,000 and seven prizes of $250,000 among many others. Interestingly, no prizes of $1 million or more were reported last month on Scratch-Off tickets. In contrast, we’ve already seen three prizes of $1 million or more won in the first week of March.
In the previous month, there were six prizes of $1 million or more hit on Scratch-Offs including the highest prize of $5 million on one ticket. That prize was hit again last week on the $5 Million Money Maker, marking the second time that prize has been won. In January, the total of all Scratch-Off prizes was reported to be over $231 million.
For the curious, winners are always listed on the Winners section of the PA Lottery site. The list doesn’t include winners of $1,000 or less.
