How to play Mega Millions
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10:59 p.m. ET. The first numbers are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70 and the megaball is between 1 and 25.
There are nine ways to win, ranging from $2 for matching the megaball, up to the jackpot. Overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 24. Odds of hitting the big one are 1 in 302,575,350.
