The last Mega Millions drawing was for an estimated $65 million on March 3. The numbers were 8 –12 – 33 – 56 –64 with a megaball of 2 and the megaplier was 2x.
There were no jackpot winners and no million-dollar winners, but four tickets matched four white balls and the megaball for $10,000. Another ticket earned double winnings of $20,000 with the $1 megaplier in play.

How Mega Millions is played
Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 10:59 ET. The first numbers are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 70 and the megaball is between 1 and 25.
There are nine ways to win, ranging from $2 for matching the megaball, up to the jackpot. Overall chances of winning a prize are 1 in 24. Odds of hitting the big one are 1 in 302,575,350. It’s a long shot, but many choose to take their chances at a shot to win over $50 million on a $2 investment.
Chances of matching all five white balls to win a million are 1 in 12,607,306.
