The last Mega Millions drawing on Dec. 1 yielded winning numbers of 7 – 33 – 53 – 61 – 65, with a gold Megaball of 14. Additionally, the Megaplier was 2X. As a recap, the last estimated jackpot was $229 million.
Although no one won the big jackpot, one big winning ticket was sold in California. This lucky ticket matched all five of the white balls but was just shy of winning the big jackpot. The winner did not choose to play the $1 Megaplier, so the ticket is worth $1 million.
