Memorial Day weekend is approaching and PA casinos are celebrating the unofficial start to summer with promotions and parties you can’t miss.

Plenty of live music, entertainment, pool parties and specials are in store for casino-goers this holiday weekend.

Large jackpots at Live! Casino Philadelphia

Friday, May 26 promotion: 6 a.m to 11:59 p.m.

Live! Casino Philadelphia is starting Memorial Day weekend as early as possible on Friday morning. Beginning at 6 a.m., all customers have a chance to win $20,000:

  • All Live! Rewards members can play at any eligible slot machine with their rewards card inserted to participate for the chance to win your share of $20,000.
  • 20 winners will be awarded. Each jackpot will start at $500 and is guaranteed to hit by $1,000.
  • Video poker and electronic table games are not eligible.

Saturday, May 27: Noon to 8 p.m.

All Live! Rewards members can swipe their card at any promotional kiosk for a complimentary PA lottery scratch-off ticket based on tier. Top prizes include:

Mohegan Pennsylvania is planning to have plenty of fun this weekend. The party gets started on Friday night with three performances in Mohegan Pennsylvania’s entertainment venues:

  • 6 p.m.: DJ Tommy at Embers Terrace
  • 8:30 p.m.: Fuzzy Park Band at Breakers
  • 9:30 p.m.: The Grunge at The Hive Taphouse

Saturday is the last day customers have to win a Jeep Wrangler. Activate your entries each hour by playing with your Momentum card:

  • 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. drawings: Activate 5 p.m. to 5:59 p.m.
  • 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. drawings: Activate 6 p.m. to 6:59 p.m.

Hollywood Casino features food truck events

Hollywood Casino at the Meadows is hosting the The Greater Pittsburgh Food Truck Festival all weekend. Here is the schedule:

  • Friday: 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday: Noon to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Admission is free for all ages, which includes live music and entertainment, craft beer and wine, regional artisans, vendors, kids activities, weiner dog races and more.

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course is also hosting a food truck on Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Dance Fever is performing in the H Lounge on Friday from 8 p.m. to midnight. Funktion is playing on Saturday night at the same time, as well.

Mount Airy Casino celebrates pool opening

Mount Airy Casino announced Memorial Day weekend plans in a press release earlier this month.

The highlight of the weekend is on Saturday, the official opening of Mount Airy’s luxury indoor/outdoor pool and entertainment complex. The free event starts at 9 p.m., with live music performed by the Kira Krakovesky Duo.

The Memorial Day bash actually kicks off on Friday with CC Music headlining a $15 celebration in the Event Center.

On Sunday, singer/songwriter Casey Walton will round out the Memorial Day weekend festivities with a free performance from 8 to 11 p.m. on the casino floor.

“We’re excited to launch a strong summer season,” said Ben Koff, Mount Airy General Manager and Chief Operating Officer. “In addition to our luxury pool complex, we look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy all that we have to offer, from premier gaming and first-class dining to luxury accommodations and exciting entertainment offerings.”

Rivers Casino Philadelphia to host Memorial Day weekend poker tournaments

Rivers Casino Philadelphia is holding numerous poker tournaments this Memorial Day weekend:

  • Saturday, May 27 at 10:15 a.m.: $70 (beginners)
  • Sunday, May 28 at 11:15 a.m.: $160 NLH ($5,000 guarantee)
  • Monday, May 29 at 1:15 p.m.: $100 NLH

Poker High Hands

  • Friday, May 26 – $1,000 every hour from 4-8 p.m.; $1,000 every half hour from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Saturday, May 27 – $1,000 every hour from 4-8 p.m.; $1,000 every half hour from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
  • Sunday, May 28 – Mystery High Hand every hour from 1-10 p.m.; guests can win up to $5,000
  • Monday, May 29 – $200 instant High Hands from 2-10 p.m.

For entertainment, Iconic R&B and funk band Tower of Power will perform in The Event Center on Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $59.

At Jack’s Bar & Grill stage, DJ Ben Campbell plays on Friday from 8 p.m. to midnight and The Gentlemen of Soul LSM perform on Saturday at the same time.

On Monday, all Rush Rewards members who play a table game with their Rush Rewards Card can earn a $20 dining credit. To qualify, Rush Rewards members must play with their card and earn 300 Tier Points at any table game.

Valley Forge Casino pool party

Valley Forge Casino is starting its Splashback Fridays on Memorial Day weekend, a pool party featuring DJ performances each Friday, showcasing throwback hits from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. General admission tickets are $10. DJ Redline will get things started Friday night.

The casino is also hosting a food truck with live music every Saturday, which begins this weekend. Doors open at 7 p.m., while entertainment takes place from 8 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. for $10. An Earth, Wind and Fire Tribute is slated for the opening Saturday.
