One of the most anticipated events of the season is the NFL schedule release. Players love to see what rematches are in store from the previous season and fans can start booking plans for road games.

Week 2: Thursday, Sept. 14 vs. Minnesota, 8:20 p.m.
In almost a carbon copy of last season, the Eagles host the Vikings in Week 2 in their home opener. Except last season, the game was on a Monday night.
This year, the two squads play on a Thursday night. The Vikings are usually a quality opponent, but the Eagles dominated 24-7 last season.

Week 3: Monday, Sept. 25 at Tampa Bay, 8:15 p.m.
The Eagles play under the lights for the second week in a row against the Brady-less Bucs. As the Bucs’ quarterback situation is in flux, the Eagles are 6-point favorites again.
Week 4: Sunday, Oct. 1 vs. Washington, 1 p.m.
The Eagles don’t have to worry about another Carson Wentz reunion as Washington released the former Eagle in February. The Commanders handed the Eagles their first loss of the season last year at Lincoln Financial Field.
Though Washington’s quarterback situation is also shaky, division games are never easy. The Eagles open as 7-point home favorites.
Week 5: Sunday, Oct. 8 at LA Rams, 4:05 p.m.
In a great travel game for fans, it’ll be interesting to see what the Rams are this season. Sean McVay decided to return for another year, but will Matthew Stafford be healthy?
The Rams were bitten by the injury bug in their title defense season. The Eagles are 4.5-point favorites on the road.
Week 6: Sunday, Oct. 15 at NY Jets, 4:25 p.m.
The Jets had a respectable season a year ago playing musical quarterbacks between Zach Wilson and Mike White. Now the Jets have high expectations after trading for Aaron Rodgers.
It’s the first game the Eagles are underdogs. They’re a 1-point road dog.
Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 22 vs. Miami, 8:20 p.m.
The NFL put two former Alabama quarterbacks in a Sunday night showcase. The narrative the entire week will be how Tua Tagovailoa replaced Jalen Hurts in the 2017 National Championship game.
Depending on Tagovailoa’s health, it should be an interesting contest. The Eagles are 3-point favorites at home.
Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 29 at Washington, 1 p.m.
A second matchup against a divisional opponent on the road is always tough. The Eagles are 4-point road favorites in a potential trap game.
Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 5 vs. Dallas, 4:25 p.m.
This is the game every Eagles player and fan has circled on the schedule. This game marks a brutal stretch of seven straight contests against 2022 playoff teams.
The Eagles are a 3-point home favorite in a pivotal midseason matchup against the Cowboys right before the bye.
Week 11: Monday, Nov. 20 at Kansas City, 8:15 p.m.
The matchup everyone has been waiting for. If it wasn’t to open the season, you could bet the NFL was going to make this game a primetime meeting.
The Eagles will be well-rested coming off a bye and trying to get revenge for Super Bowl 57. The Eagles are 3-point road underdogs.
Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 26 vs. Buffalo, 4:25 p.m.
Eagles fans will be sure to make Josh Allen’s first game in Philadelphia memorable. Sean McDermott’s Bills are always well-coached, and should make for an interesting matchup.
The Eagles are slight 1.5-point favorites.
Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 3 vs. San Francisco, 4:25 p.m.
The 49ers finally get their shot at the Eagles since last year’s NFC Championship didn’t go as planned. There has been a lot of talk from 49ers players all offseason wanting another crack at the Eagles. 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan is happy the rematch is late in the season so his players are healthy.
The Eagles are 2.5-point favorites at home. Let’s see if the 49ers have anything to complain about after this game.
Week 14: Sunday, Dec. 10 at Dallas, 8:20 p.m.
A Sunday night in Jerry World with likely division implications? Yes, please.
Surprisingly, the Eagles are 1-point underdogs in the matchup.
Week 15: Sunday, Dec. 17 at Seattle, 4:25 p.m.
Playing a Pete Carroll-coached team on the road is never easy. This is another game likely to have playoff implications.
The Eagles are 2-point road favorites.
Week 16: Monday, Dec. 25 vs. NY Giants, 4:30 p.m.
The first matchup against the Giants comes in the primetime Christmas Day slot. The NFL sandwiched the Eagles between Raiders-Chiefs (1 p.m.) and Ravens-49ers (8:15 p.m.).
It’s a rematch of last year’s NFC Divisional matchup, where the Eagles dominated 38-7. The Eagles are 7-point favorites.
Week 17: Sunday, Dec. 31 vs. Arizona, 1 p.m.
The Eagles welcome back former defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon. Actually, it shouldn’t be too much of a welcome after Gannon and the Cardinals got caught tampering. Many in Philadelphia believe it took Gannon’s focus away from the Super Bowl.
The Eagles are 10-point favorites, their largest spread of the season.
Week 18: TBD at NY Giants, TBD
The NFL did not fully schedule many games for Week 18. Some get flexed into Saturday night, while games with playoff implications are usually set at 4:25 p.m.
We won’t know the day or time of this game until late December, if not early January. The Eagles are 2.5-point favorites.
