Bounty Hunters be on the look out as PokerStars PA is offering some big prizes in its May Bounty Builder Series. Pennsylvania players will be able to play for at least $1 million in prize pools from May 13-23.
The series includes 44 events and offers online poker tournaments to fit any bankroll. The schedule includes buy-ins ranging from $5 to $1,000. Most events will begin at 6:00 p.m. nightly and there will be multiple trophy events available.
PokerStars PA Bounty Builder Series Main Event
The PokerStars PA Bounty Builder Main Event will kick off May 22 and run for two days. The tournament will be a $300 buy-in and offers a $150,000 guarantee.
Bounty events will dominate the series schedule but within those events, there will be Freezeouts (no re-entry), Turbos and several Progressive Knockouts.
What is a PKO online poker tournament?
Some of the most popular online tournaments are Progressive Knockout (PKO) Events. PKOs are a special type of bounty tournament. When a player eliminates an opponent, that player cashes in 50% of the opponent’s bounty. Those funds go directly into the winning player’s own account.
The other half of that opponent’s bounty is added to the bounty on the winning player’s head. Every knockout the player wins, the larger the price becomes on that player’s own head.
