Huge winners already crowned this week
There have been a couple major prizes awarded this week. The PA Lottery sold a ticket that won the highest jackpot available on a Scratch-Off. The recently debuted ticket, the $5 Million Money Maker, was released in celebration of the Lottery’s 50th anniversary. The ticket is the first one in PA with a $50 price tag, and touts a Top Prize of $5 million.
The winning ticket, sold in Eerie County, was the second to win the Top Prize on that game since it was released. The first was sold in Bucks County in January.

In addition, Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing was a fruitful one. After five weeks with no big winner, a ticket sold in NY hit the jackpot. A single ticket matched all six numbers drawn to win the $126 million Grand Prize.
That marks the second jackpot won this year. The first was on Jan. 28, when a winner in CA took home a prize of $426 million. The rolling Top Prize will reset to $20 million for the next Mega Millions drawing on Friday this week.
