Powerball wrapped up the first month of the year with no new jackpot winner. The new Grand Prize is up to $123 million for tonight’s drawing, Feb 2. Check your numbers below after the drawing to see if you’re the winner of this jackpot with a cash value of $84.7 million.
The previous drawing, on Monday, produced a single winner of $1 million in addition to thousands of lower-tier winners. The $1 million ticket, sold in CA, matched the first five balls but not the Powerball.

Fortune cookie numbers pay off $4 million in January Mega Millions drawing
One man’s fortune cookie lived up to its name last month. After having his weekly meal at a Chinese restaurant, Gabriel Fierro, 60, of Cornelius, NC used the “lucky numbers” from his fortune cookie on a Mega Millions ticket. Those numbers matched the first five in the Jan. 18 drawing. Fierro paid an extra $1 for the Megaplier on his ticket, so his win was multiplied to $4 million.
Fierro purchased the ticket through NC’s Online Lottery site. The $4 million prize is the highest prize ever won via the state’s online portal.
He told WRAL, who originally reported the story, “I got an email in the morning and I just stared at it dumbfounded. I took it and showed it to my wife and she thought it was an April Fool’s joke or maybe a scam.”
A scam it was not. The couple received $2,840,401 after taxes.
