By now you’ve probably heard that the Powerball jackpot of over half a billion dollars was hit in the last drawing. Two winners from CA and WI matched the first five numbers and the red Powerball, and will split that prize.
With the increased excitement and increased ticket sales came a whole lot of winners on Wednesday. One PA player won $100,000 on a Power Play ticket by matching four of the first five numbers and the Powerball. 12 tickets matched the first five for prizes of $1 million each, and two others hit the same win with Power Play for prizes of $2 million.
The new Grand Prize resets to $20 million for tonight’s drawing, Jan. 8. That carries a cash value of $14.2 million.

Tonight’s Millionaire Raffle Drawing to Award Over $5 Million in Prizes
Over the past eight weeks, anticipation has been building for PA Lottery’s New Year’s Millionaire Raffle. Every week two tickets are drawn to win $50,000 prizes, but it all culminates tonight in the main drawing. Four lucky ticket holders will win $1 million, and 6,000 total prizes will be awarded. Watch the main drawing tonight, Jan. 8, at 10:00 p.m. at palottery.com.
PA Lottery has announced the final two $50,000 winning ticket numbers, randomly drawn from more than 69,800 tickets sold between Dec. 28 and Jan. 3. Ticket number 00447103 was sold at Turkey Hill in York County and ticket number 00465074 was sold at Quick Shop in Snyder County.
All tickets sold since the raffle began on Nov. 9 will be entered into tonight’s drawings, so keep your tickets handy. You may have won a previous weekly drawing prize, so check all your tickets at a lottery retailer or using PA Lottery’s mobile app.
