Notably, the trust decided to choose the one-time, lump-sum amount of around $197 million. To use the trust option, the winning ticket first needs to be transferred into the name of the trust. Then, an attorney or trustee claims the winnings on behalf of the trust.
The ticket was sold at a Circle K gas station located in Jacksonville at 721 S. Chaffee Road. Additionally, Circle K earns a $100,000 bonus commission for selling the winner.
