$1 million Scottsdale, AZ ticket expires tomorrow
The Arizona Lottery announced that a winning $1 million ticket expires tomorrow. In order to claim the prize, the owner needs to bring the ticket to the Arizona Lottery Office, which is located at 4740 E. University Drive in Phoenix by 5 p.m. local time.
As a reminder, the winning ticket was purchased at Circle K at 7140 E. Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale for the May 22 drawing. The winning numbers were 03 – 19 – 27 – 37 – 40 with a red Powerball of 08. In Arizona, tickets are valid for 180 days after the drawing takes place.
Different lottery jurisdictions have various time frames for how long a winner can claim a prize. For example, in Pennsylvania, you have one calendar year from the date of the drawing to claim winnings.
