Some lucky winner in Florida won the Powerball drawing on Aug. 12 that had an eye-popping estimated jackpot of $169 million. One ticket was sold that matched all the white ball numbers of 2 – 6 – 18 – 36 – 37 and the Powerball of 21.
Thus, tonight’s Powerball estimated jackpot on Saturday, Aug. 15, resets to $20 million. There’s also a cash-value option of $16.6 million.
$1 million Powerball ticket sold in PA
As if it’s not big enough news that the Powerball jackpot hit, the PA Lottery reports that a ticket that matched all five white balls was sold in Montgomery County. This winning Powerball ticket is worth a cool $1 million.
But that’s not all. There were two other Powerball winning tickets worth $100,000 each that sold in Lancaster and Montgomery counties, respectively. The $1 million Powerball ticket and $100,000 tickets sold in Montgomery County were both purchased at different Wawa locations.
