The Powerball jackpot only continues rising as we head for the new year!
For Wednesday, Dec. 30, the Powerball estimated jackpot has climbed to $363 million, with a $279.2 million cash payout.

Five big Powerball winners for Dec. 26
Certainly, the excitement and interest in Powerball is only growing — even more so when you realize that this is the biggest Powerball jackpot since last January.
The winning numbers for Dec. 26 were 10 – 24 – 27 – 35 – 53, and the Powerball was 18. Five winning tickets yielded millionaire winners. Three winners — from Florida, North Carolina and Texas — won $1 million each by matching all five white balls.
Another two winners from Kentucky and Texas matched all five numbers and added on the $1 Power Play option. The Power Play multiplier for this drawing was 2X. Thus, these two tickets won $2 million each.
According to the Powerball Consortium, approximately 942,000 tickets were winners in the Dec. 26 drawing.

- $70 million in Michigan on Feb. 12
- $190 million in New Jersey on Apr. 8

- $94.8 million in New York on Sept. 16
