One lucky person from West Virginia was the sole winner of the $136 million Powerball jackpot during the drawing on June 3. It means the jackpot resets to $20 million for the next drawing with a $15.8 million cash option.
With counties in Pennsylvania in either the yellow or green phase of reopening, more lotto retailers are reopening. During the coronavirus pandemic, online lottery sales increased as players opted to buy tickets from the safety of home.

Recent Powerball winners, new lottery rules
On the June 3 drawing, the winning numbers were 1 – 3 – 26 – 41 – 64 with a powerball of 17. The multiplier was 2x.
As previously mentioned, there was one $136 million jackpot winner.
Four tickets matched four white balls, the powerballs and had the $1 power play to win $100,000. Five people correctly picked four white balls, the powerball and had the $1 power play to win $50,000. However, they did not have the $1 power play to double their winnings.
Seven players from Pennsylvania matched four of five white balls and purchased the power play to get $200.
Last Saturday, a lucky PA player matched all five white balls and had the power play to winning themselves a cool $2 million. Might someone from the Commonwealth have the same luck one week later?
New draw lottery rules dictate that jackpots start over at $20 million instead of $40 million, at least for the time being due to coronavirus. There is also no minimum roll amount between jackpots, but that hasn’t made a big difference of late.
